There is more to this series than what I have shown you with these links.
Sorry about this!
Hey, Aaron, can you help me out with a dilemma I'm having?
See, i want to add the Sliffer the Sky Dragon I got in a structure deck to a deck I've been working on. The problem is that I don't know if it's allowed in official game store tournaments. Can you give me an official ruling?
Well, that's not a dilemma at all. All you have to do is check out what the current Banned List is. There's a list right here...
As you can see, Slifer is not on it, though that comes as no surprise to me. When they made official versions of the "God" Cards, they nerfed their effects to make them usable.
To be honest, I got out of the game years ago. I lost interest after the Link System showed up. To me, it was just one thing too many.
Heh, hey, Aaron, I just thought of a funny DP gag that makes fun of an old superhero cliche.
It goes this way: Danny and Sam are in the middle of a crowded street during a ghost attack.
Danny: This is bad. There's too many people around here. Where are we suppose to go ghost?
Sam: Uh, well, there is ONE place...
(She points to a nearby phone booth that's empty)
Danny: (Dryly) You've got to be kidding me.
Sam: Hey, you had to know it would come to this eventually.
I don't know. Do phone booths even exist anymore? I know they made a joke about that on "Night Court" a couple weeks back. The setup was, it was Comicon and the guy in court was cosplaying as Superman...
"I know phone booths are hard to come by, but that doesn't make it okay for you to take your pants off in a Verizon store."
Well, that's the thing with cartoons; things that are old-fashioned and obsolete can still exist.
Of course, another way to go would be Danny to groan "There's never a phone booth around when you need one".
That might actually be the better way to go. Or at least something similar.
