Heating Up a 'Frozen' Christmas

First, let it be stated that this is NOT the beginning of my next art set.  This was a request for a Christmas present.  So in the spirit of the season (and because I was kind of at a loss for a Holiday-themed pic this year), I decided to take a brief time out from my fanfic writing to get it done.

Yes, it appears that even MY Gallery is not immune to the global frenzy that is "Frozen".  This was a request from , who wanted a Christmas present for her cousin.  Basically, the pic is OF her cousin, getting caught under the mistletoe by Elsa and Anna.  Mind you, given the look on his face, he clearly doesn't seem to mind.  And in the Disney spirit, I decided to draw this pic in my Kim Possible style.

All things considered, this pic turned out more or less the way I wanted it to.  All the effects are there.  Well, almost.  I DID want to go that extra mile and put the floral patterns on Anna's skirt.  But with the borders and everything, there just wasn't enough space in those sections to do it properly.  So I had to leave it out (choosing my words VERY carefully here, so as to avoid the obvious Frozen pun that's been TOTALLY done to death at this point).  Of course, I suppose if her cousin had come to us sooner and told us that he wanted Rapunzel in the pic instead of Anna, that whole issue could have been avoided.  But by the time he told and by the time that information found its way to me, I was already too far into the project to make such a significant change.  So all I could do was carry forward.

Regardless, though, the pic turned out quite well and I'm reasonably pleased with it.  , I hope you can say the same and I hope your cousin still likes what he's getting here.  As for everyone else, have a Merry Christmas (or a happy whatever-it-is you celebrate this holiday season) and I hope this pic does something to hold you in the festive mood.^_^
